The Month of August

Hello friends and neighbors!
This year has just flown by! It’s hard to believe that Summer is almost over!
For the Discher family, August consisted mainly of everyday life, but there were a few exciting incidents that I will be highlighting. Hope y’all enjoy!

We were blessed to be able to pick two Apple, a pear and two white peach trees!

One evening after a storm, the entire property was golden! I felt like I was in Narnia! This is the last of the glorious sunset that night.

Daddy’s birthday was the 10th of August. He wanted to go to the creek for a picnic. So that is what we did. ๐Ÿ™‚

On the 17th, our friends, the Paynes, hosted a Law and Liberty tour with Mark Rushdoony, Bojidar Marinov, and Dr. Paul Michael Raymond. Grace and I were blessed to stay at the Paynes, help them prepare for the conference and serve these well known speakers. The conference went really well and I hope many were blessed by it!

Back to seriousness.

Ben came to visit in June and asked Daddy’s permission. Daddy said to wait for a couple months, and he did! ๐Ÿ™‚
