On the first of September, for Labor Day Weekend, our family went on a camping trip.
It’s so wonderful living on 200 acres! You practically have your own national forest! π

If you are a member of the Discher family, you must bring your instrument!

And finally, on September 21st, 2013, Gracie entered into a courtship with Dylan Underwood.
Grace met Dylan in July at the Soveriegn Grace Youth Camp. They were both counselors, and had many things in common. Since then, we have been seeing much of their family. Dylan is a wonderful man of God and we are very excited to see what the Lord will do through this relationship! π
Of course Rose was peeking out the window, Michael was taking a glance here and there and I was nobly taking pictures for the rest of the family since they weren’t here for the big event π
“Maggie dear, just won’t go out alone
Seems that she must have a chaperone
When we go out no matter where we’re bound
There’s always somebody around
“She brings her father, her mother
Her sister and her brother
Woah, I never see Maggie alone
She brings her uncle, her cousin
She’s got ’em by the dozens
You know that’s why I never see Maggie alone”
There are two tradtions in our family when a courtship begins. One, the couple has their picture taken in front of the fireplace (notice the lovely necklace – a gift from Dylan). And two, the couple goes milk the cows together at least once! π
Some of our Autumn harvest!
Aha! Now you know the reason for the interesting Blog Title! π
In all seriousness, though. Please pray for our family as we go through this season of change. π
Thanks for stopping by!
