Greetings friends and family!
My apologies for being so neglectful of our poor readers! The tail end of April and entire month of May were excitingly, busy! So much so that I have not had time to post.
For this post, I’ll just give y’all an update of what’s been happening lately. π
The 27th of April had finally come! But what was so special about this day, you ask? It was the day our family had invited friends and acquaintances out to try their test at poetry reading.Β Unfortunately,Β like most of our other parties, we were rained out!Β Well, why let a good party go to waste? A few close friends came out and we had a game night and played musicΒ instead! π
Samantha and her beautiful baby!

The second week of May was the long awaited CHEF/ Family Economics conference! π
Peter was not able to go, due to his work. We missed him, but were thankful that he milked the cows! π
Headed up to St Louis! Neither of them look very enthused, do they?
We stayed with the Saffas this year. Our family was so blessed by their loving hospitality during our stay at their home!
Taking notes..
Mr Swanson is Mama’s favorite speaker.
It was good to get to know the Shultz family better!
We were so excited to see the Buries there!
Rose enjoyed spending time with the Saffa girls.
The boys making ham for Mother’s Day breakfast.
The Landry family. π
Sweet times of fellowship.
We were so happy that quite a few families from our church could come this year. π
We were blessed to have Grandmama and Granddaddy at the conference! π

Dancing with my sister!
It’s so fun to see all the costumes!
