On October 14th, 2013 I (Markie) reached my 16th year. In our family, it is a tradition that for a girl’s 16th birthday, Grandmama and Granddaddy bless us with a Tea Party. The party theme is of our own choosing, and I chose a Scottish Highland theme. 🙂
The feast took place on October 18th, 2013. 🙂 Abby and Amanda were able to fly up for it, and Grandmama and Granddaddy were up for a visit. It was a wonderful, blessed time of fellowship with my Sisters in Christ!
I thank our very good friends who were the official photographers! We are very thankful!
Enjoy the post!
Millling around, introducing friends to other friends!
Enjoying the firepit.
Lighting the candles.
Pouring the lemon curd!
“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

And we can’t forget Amanda!
Wonderful, delicious food!
The mothers of the next generation! Or, if you prefer, the lovely young ladies who attended my party!
