A Journey Back In Time

Good day, dear readers.

We interrupt our deluge of wedding pictures to give you a little bit of history.

6 years of long, hard fighting. Millions of soldiers dead, homes destroyed, families torn apart, genocides, victories, defeats, honor and shame.
Suddenly, it is all over.
After the German surrender in May of 1945, the citizens of the Allied countries would hold Victory Parties for months afterwards.

Let us travel to a little country farm in the Ozarks and witness first-hand one of these events; a Victory Picnic.

The Lord blessed us with a perfect day on Saturday, June 27th!
We had such a wonderful time celebrating with everyone, and hope that you were encouraged and inspired to not forget the greatest generation; but learn from them, hear their stories, and do not let living history pass through your grasp. For they will soon be gone.
